A world-leading developer of ergonomic assistive devices, patient handling solutions and specialist seating is expanding its UK Wheelchair & Seating Division and is looking to appoint an Account Manager to support continually growing demand across NHS wheelchair services, community services and specialist mobility providers within the North.
The Role: As Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales across NHS wheelchair services, dealers and specialist mobility providers within your territory. Working closely with clinicians, therapists, procurement teams and dealer partners, you will assess, demonstrate and prescribe specialist mobility and seating solutions that deliver outstanding outcomes for end users. This is a field-based role combining new business development with account management, suited to a commercially driven individual who thrives on building long-term relationships within the NHS and mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop existing NHS and dealer accounts whilst identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with wheelchair services, therapists, clinicians and procurement stakeholders
- Conduct product demonstrations, assessments and training sessions
- Deliver territory sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline reporting
- Represent the business at exhibitions, trade events and customer education sessions
Candidate Requirements:
- EITHER sales experience within mobility, / patient handling / rehabilitation
- OR A related clinical background - Physio, OT, Manual Handling Advisor, Rehab Engineer etc with a good anatomy and physiology knowledge
- Knowledge of wheelchair services, seating or complex mobility products would be highly advantageous
- Personable, credible and empathetic
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Package:
- £35K-£55k basic salary DOE
- £25k+ uncapped OTE
