Role: Architectural Technician
Location: Scotland, UK
Rate of Pay: Competitive (DOE)
Contract: 6–12-month contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid
We’re looking for a skilled Architectural Technician to join our expanding team in Scotland. You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality technical information across residential, commercial, and public‑sector projects.
About the Role:
You’ll support projects from planning through to construction, producing accurate technical drawings and coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical drawing production — preparing detailed construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Building warrant submissions — compiling documentation and liaising with local authorities.
- Specification writing — assisting with NBS specifications and material selection.
- Site coordination — attending site visits and supporting contract administration.
- Consultant collaboration — working closely with engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a UK architectural practice
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS Chorus
- Solid understanding of Scottish Building Regulations and warrant procedures
- Ability to produce accurate, coordinated technical information
- Strong communication and organisational skills
