7.5T / Class 2 Driver

£16.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 Driver to join a busy operations team based in Cambridge.

This is a temporary position working Monday to Friday with a 4:00am start. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed and RoRo vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all transport legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Operate 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
Carry out vehicle checks and complete relevant documentation
Transport materials and equipment using flatbed and RoRo vehicles
Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Traffic legislation
Maintain excellent health and safety standards
Deliver a high standard of customer service when required

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Category C (Class 2) entitlement
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience driving flatbed and/or RoRo vehicles preferred
Good command of the English language
Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

Approximately 48 hours per week
Temporary contract until August 2026
Uniform provided
Interview required prior to start
