My client, a well known Sports group, are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially-driven Amazon Trading Manager to lead the day-to-day growth of their Pan-EU multi-branded portfolio.
You will be Primary daily point of contact for Amazon, ensuring their digital storefront is flawless, their inventory is moving, and the ad spend is working hard.
This role requires a unique blend of operational excellence and stakeholder management, acting as the vital bridge between internal teams and Amazon’s complex ecosystem to keep the Amazon store running smoothly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Vendor Central Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Vendor Central, including catalog management, NIS, PO processing, and dispute resolution (shortages/chargebacks).
- Digital Merchandising: Ensure all A+ Content, Brand Stores, and SEO-optimized titles/bullets are best-in-class to maximize conversion in competitive categories. -Audits PDPs to ensure the Buy Box is won and seasonal newness
- Inventory & Forecasting: Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure high In-Stock rates and work with in-house teams to optimise in-season trading
- Promotional Roadmap: Design and execute a high-impact marketing calendar, including Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and category-specific events.
- Advertising Oversight: Collaborate with (or manage) the PPC team/agency to ensure Amazon Marketing Services (AMS/DSP) spend is driving incremental growth and managing ROAS/TACOS.
- Critical Path Planning: Coordinate brand calendar, sales and buying critical path cycles.
Experience/Qualification:
- Must have direct experience managing Amazon Vendor Central (1P) ideally in Fashion, Beauty, or FMCG would be highly desirable.
- Vendor Central: In depth working knowledge of this eco-system with strong understanding of Amazon sites along with working knowledge of running deals in various formats on site.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Macros) and can translate Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA) into actionable insights.
- Communication: You can hold your own in a room with Amazon Vendor Managers and internal stakeholders alike.
- Ideally have exposure to Amazon 3P and have worked with launching new brands on Amazon
- Ideally have working experience with other large marketplace/ pure player businesses
- Ideally have in-depth knowledge working with Amazon Advertising tools
