Are you a qualified Special Education Teacher with QTS and a strong background supporting pupils with Autism and complex communication needs?
This specialist primary school in Neasden, Brent supports pupils aged 4-11 with Autism and associated communication needs. With small classes of around 8 pupils, a highly structured learning environment and access to specialist therapists, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Special Education Teacher to make a meaningful impact in a well-resourced SEND setting.
The school currently has around 55 pupils on roll across seven classes, with all pupils having an EHCP. Pupils follow carefully planned, individualised learning pathways, with strong progress made from their starting points.

The successful Special Education Teacher will need:
- QTS
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally Autism
- Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated planning and individualised learning
- Confidence adapting the curriculum for pupils with communication and sensory needs
- Calm, consistent classroom practice and strong behaviour support strategies
- Ability to work closely with therapists, support staff and families
- A reflective, proactive and child-centred approach
This Special Education Teacher role would suit a qualified teacher with experience in a specialist school, ARP, SEND unit or mainstream setting with substantial Autism/SEND exposure.
