A well-established and growing environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support continued expansion across the South of the UK.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires a confident and professional individual who can work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
The consultancy works with a diverse client base including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Government Departments, NHS Trusts, major construction companies, and private sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial premises
- Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, contractors, and site representatives
- Accurately collect and record site information using tablet-based systems
- Produce clear and precise electronic site plans
- Ensure samples and documentation are recorded and submitted within required timeframes
- Complete quality assurance checks prior to report submission
- Provide support and guidance to trainee surveyors where appropriate
Essential Requirements
- BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying
- Minimum of 2 years' asbestos surveying experience
- Strong understanding of current legislation, industry guidance, and best practice
- Experience producing accurate digital survey reports
- Good IT skills and confidence using tablet-based applications
- Full UK Driving Licence
