Job description

You will be joining an award-winning, RIBA Chartered practice with over 100 years of history and a presence across five offices. The practice has built an exceptional reputation for delivering creative design solutions and high-quality execution across masterplanning, architecture, and interiors.


Due to continued growth and an increase in workload, the practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its retail fit-out team in a senior capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and attend client meetings, providing technical input and project updates
  • Produce detailed technical drawing packages using AutoCAD
  • Advise on and ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations
  • Prepare comprehensive scopes of work and technical documentation
  • Conduct site visits nationwide to monitor progress and quality
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and specialist consultants
  • Support project delivery from concept through to completion


Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in an Architectural Technologist role
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Proven experience delivering technical drawing packages
  • Full UK driving licence (regular travel required)
  • Previous experience in the retail fit-out sector (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
