Job description

Senior Research Executive – Consumer Qualitative Research

Central London (Hybrid)

£34 – 37,000 + Bonus & Bens

Are you a curious, analytical qualitative researcher ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Senior Research Executive to join their team and drive the delivery of impactful research projects across the FMCG and consumer sector. This agency sits at the fascinating intersection of qualitative research, design thinking and behavioural science. You’ll be at the heart of the project lifecycle, managing everything from initial proposals to final client debriefs, helping clients to make braver and smarter design decisions.

The Role

You'll work closely with senior team members on a variety of qualitative projects, both domestic and international. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day project management, ensuring everything runs smoothly, stays on budget, and meets their high standards. Whether you’re moderating focus groups, conducting qual analysis or mentoring junior colleagues, your work will directly shape the insights delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: manage fieldwork logistics and supplier liaison
  • Research Design & Execution: Draft discussion guides, write survey questions, and moderate a range of research sessions
  • Insightful Analysis: Analyse data to "find the story," prepare debrief documents, and present key findings to clients
  • Client & Team Management: Act as the primary contact for clients while guiding and delegating tasks to junior team members
  • Internal Growth: Contribute to marketing think-pieces, blog posts, and internal initiatives to promote your company's work

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong academic background and at least 18 months of experience in a research Executive role. You should be:

  • Analytical & Critical: You have a knack for gaining deep insights from complex data
  • An Expert Communicator: You’re comfortable presenting ideas and can write clear, compelling proposals and reports
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in both Apple (Keynote, Pages) and Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel) suites
  • Curious & Adaptable: You have a genuine interest in brands, design, and understanding how people think

Ready to help us shape the future of research?

If you have a passion for brands and design, a sharp eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit, we’d love to hear from you.
