Global Equity Research Analyst

Job description

Our client is a global investment management firm with a long-term, fundamental driven approach to investing. They are seeking an intellectually curious and commercially minded individual to join their Global Equities team in London. This is an opportunity to work within a high-conviction investment culture, contributing original research and differentiated investment ideas across global long-only strategies. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of experienced investors with significant exposure to decision-making and the full investment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on listed companies across global markets
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation frameworks
• Generate differentiated investment insights through rigorous analysis of industries, competitive dynamics and company fundamentals
• Monitor macroeconomic, sector and company-specific developments relevant to portfolio holdings and prospective investments
• Prepare clear, high-quality research reports and present investment recommendations to portfolio managers
• Engage directly with company management teams, industry experts and sell-side research professionals
• Work closely with senior investors throughout the research, diligence and portfolio construction process

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in buy-side fundamental investing role
• Strong academic credentials and CFA qualification
• Demonstrable passion for investing and public markets, with a long-term mindset
• Thoughtful, analytical and intellectually rigorous with strong attention to detail
• Ability to form independent views and communicate investment ideas with conviction and clarity
• Collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for working within a high-performing investment team
