Management Consultant (Organizational Design), London

Korn Ferry is looking for a Management Consultant (Organizational Design), London

Job description

At Korn Ferry, we put people at the centre of organisational strategy. We help clients design how work gets done—aligning talent, leadership, rewards and structure to unlock performance and drive meaningful, lasting change.

This is where human capital creates real business impact.

About the Role

As an Associate Principal in Organisational Design, you lead the transformation of how organisations operate—translating strategy into practical, people-led design. You’ll shape operating models, structures, governance and roles, ensuring organisations are built around their people and set up to perform.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, owning critical OD workstreams end-to-end, while working as part of a broader consulting team to deliver integrated solutions across our full human capital offering.

This is a step up—more ownership, greater visibility, and a stronger voice in shaping both client outcomes and team delivery.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering complex transformation work, combining strategic thinking with practical execution:

  • Lead organisation design workstreams across large-scale transformation programmes
  • Design operating models, structures and governance aligned to business and people strategy
  • Translate strategic ambition into clear, implementable organisational solutions
  • Ensure design decisions reflect culture, capability, and ways of working—not just structure

Alongside delivery, you’ll operate as a credible advisor to clients:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops and guide key design decisions
  • Advise on organisational trade-offs, risks and performance implications

You’ll also take ownership of delivery quality and team leadership:

  • Own the delivery, quality, and outputs of your workstreams end-to-end
  • Manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment
  • Coach and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants, building capability across the team

As part of a broader consulting environment, you’ll contribute beyond core delivery:

  • Support the development of proposals and bid materials
  • Contribute to Korn Ferry’s organisational design methodologies and IP
  • Bring external insight into how organisations are evolving in the future of work

What You’ll Bring

You bring a strong grounding in organisational design and a clear understanding of how people strategy drives business performance. You’re comfortable leading workstreams, influencing senior stakeholders, and navigating complexity with a structured, pragmatic approach.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience designing operating models and organisational structures
  • Strong consulting toolkit and problem-solving capability
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and facilitating discussions
  • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing others
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and driving clarity through complexity
  • Digital and AI fluency, including Microsoft tools and emerging technologies

Why Korn Ferry

At Korn Ferry, organisation design is not theoretical—it’s practical, people-led and transformative.

You’ll work across our full consulting portfolio, collaborating with experts in leadership, rewards and organisational strategy to deliver integrated solutions. You’ll learn from experienced consultants, take on meaningful responsibility early, and play a direct role in helping clients navigate the changing world of work.

This isn’t just about structure.

It’s about shaping organisations through their people.
