Role: Recruitment Consultant – 360 Agency Recruitment

Salary: Up to £30,000+ for trainees or up to £34,000k for recruitment experience + uncapped bonus (paid every 4 weeks)

We’re hiring two Recruitment Consultants into two different teams within our Cardiff office:

• Business Support Recruitment

Administration Recruitment | Business Support Recruitment | Reed

• Engineering Recruitment (Manufacturing, Quality & Design)

Manufacturing & Engineering Recruitment Agency | Reed

The Opportunities:

Recruitment Consultant – Business Support

This role sits within an established, high‑performing Business Support team covering Cardiff and the wider South Wales region. You’ll recruit across office and operational support roles, working with long‑standing clients across education, public sector, professional services and commercial organisations as well as identifying and winning your own new clients.

It’s a warm desk with existing relationships, active temp demand and clear scope to grow your own client base and personal brand.

Recruitment Consultant – Engineering

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our newly formed and growing Engineering Hub with a focus on Manufacturing, Quality and Design roles. Typical hires include Quality Engineers, Design Managers, QA Inspectors and Engineering Managers.

You’ll be developing a predominantly permanent desk with strong fee potential, supported by an experienced leader and the freedom to shape the desk as the market evolves into a more specialist area.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle from business development, winning new clients through to sourcing candidates and making placements
• Building long‑term, trusted relationships with clients and candidates
• Developing new business via proactive outbound calls, meetings, networking and referrals
• Growing a sustainable desk with clear revenue and progression goals
• Becoming a market expert within your chosen specialism

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 12 months’ experience in 360 recruitment or B2B sales
• A resilient, motivated and commercially driven mindset
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confidence with business development and account management
• Ambition to progress and grow your career within Reed
