Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Lutterworth, This is an ongoing role doing 2-3 deliveries per day, you may have the odd collection/back load. This is long and Mid distance work.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs

• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor

• no handball, this is a nice haulage role

• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

• Strapping and Reversing competence

• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided

• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

• Start times between 6.00am - 07:00am

• Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route

• PAYE Pay rate: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour
