Senior Architect / Associate

This established, award winning design studio is seeking a Senior Architect or Associate to join its high end residential team. The successful candidate will be confident presenting ideas, thinking clearly and engaging effectively with clients and contractors. Collaboration sits at the heart of the studio’s approach, so the ability to work both as part of a team and independently is essential. You will be highly motivated, with strong communication and organisational skills, alongside a clear design focus, attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing your role within the practice.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Five plus years in practice post qualification
• Strong high end residential experience
• Excellent knowledge of construction detailing
• Solid understanding of building regulations and technical delivery
• Ability to lead projects across all RIBA stages 0 to 7
• Experience in Contract Administration, ideally with JCT Intermediate contracts
• Confidence managing and leading a project team
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of listed buildings is beneficial but not essential
• Experience using MicroStation is beneficial but not essential
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Fluent written and spoken English, with permanent right to work in the UK
• Please note: Ideally looking for candidates who are able to start immediately or within 1 weeks notice
