\n\nYour Role\n

We are on the lookout for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our dynamic team at the West Thurrock Operating Centre. You will play a crucial role in supporting freight deliveries to customers and other P&G sites across the UK.

\n\n

As part of our 24-hour operation, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with various night shift start times available between 16:00 and 03:00, tailored to meet business demands. Shifts typically last 8 to 12 hours, averaging 40 hours per week.

\n\nYour Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

\n

\n
• Deliver P&G products to customers across the UK using curtain side drop trailers.

\n

• Follow a typical routine of collecting loaded trailers, delivering to customers, and returning to the P&G plant.

\n

• Potentially shuttle between different P&G Distribution Centres, picking up and delivering containers.

\n\n\nWhat We Offer You\n

• \nCompetitive Compensation:\n

  • Base Pay: £16.80 per hour\n

  • Market Premium: £3.00 per hour for all hours worked

  \n

  • Shift Premium: £4.00 per hour for unsociable hours (17:00 - 07:00 on weekdays, all hours on weekends)

  \n

  • Overtime Pay: 1.5 times the combined rate for overtime from Monday to Saturday, and 2 times for Sundays.

\n\n\nQualifications We’re Looking For\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\n

\n
• A current HGV Class 1 license and valid driver CPC.

\n

• At least 2 years of experience in commercially driving Class 1 HGV.

\n

• Experience in palletized goods distribution.

\n

• No more than 6 points on your driving license, with no Dangerous Driving (DD) or Drink Driving (DR) endorsements.

\n

• References from previous employers (preferred).
