LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER — MARYLEBONE

Salary: £50,000 per annum  

\n\n

Location: Marylebone, London  

\n\n

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am – 7pm (rotating shift one week per month 7am - 3pm)  

\n\n

Contract: Permanent 

\n\n

A prestigious private household in Marylebone is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join their existing team on a long-term basis. The property spans four floors and five bedrooms and is maintained to show-home standard at all times. The incoming Housekeeper will work alongside an existing team member and report directly to a House Manager. This is a wonderful role for someone who takes genuine pride in private household work and is looking for long-term, stable employment.

Duties and Responsibilities as Housekeeper will include: 

\n\n

\n\t
• Full housekeeping duties across a four-floor, five-bedroom property in Marylebone 

\n\t

• Deep cleaning throughout the property to an exceptional standard 

\n\t

• Room turnaround and daily maintenance of all areas 

\n\t

• Laundry and ironing — a particularly important element of the role given the principals' extensive wardrobes 

\n\t

• Wardrobe management, packing and presentation to an immaculate standard 

\n\t

• Breakfast assistance and light lunch support as required 

\n\t

• Dog walking shared across the team (afternoon and evening) 

\n\t

• Flexible support across the household as needed — a genuine team player mentality is expected 

\n\n\n

The ideal Housekeeper will have: 

\n\n

\n\t
• Proven hands-on experience within a private household— we are looking for candidates who are actively working housekeepers, not solely in a management capacity

\n\t

• Strong longevity in previous roles — candidates with a consistent track record of long-term employment are strongly preferred

\n\t

• Must be based within London — candidates are required to already be living in London for commuting reliability

\n\t

• Available to start as soon as possible

\n\t

• A background in hospitality highly advantageous 

\n\t

• Exceptional standards of cleaning, laundry and presentation 

\n\t

• A warm, professional manner and the ability to work discreetly within a family home 

\n\t

• Dog-friendly attitude — animals are very much part of the household 

\n\t

• Physical fitness and the ability to work across multiple floors 

\n\t

• A long-term, committed mindset
