Property Manager - Data Centre
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Data Centre Manager to take the lead at a state-of-the-art, 2 x mission-critical facilities in Newcastle.
This leadership position offers the chance to oversee the day-to-day operation of a high-profile data centre, ensuring exceptional standards in operational performance, engineering coordination, health & safety, compliance, client engagement, and team development.
You will play a key role in maintaining 24/7 resilience, managing specialist service partners, driving sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives, and supporting the continued growth and success of the facility.
Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to clients while fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of data centre operations, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
- Manage engineering and facilities teams, contractors, and specialist vendors.
- Drive health, safety, compliance, and risk management programmes.
- Develop and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth opportunities.
- Ensure operational readiness and resilience across critical infrastructure systems.
About You
- Proven experience managing operations within a live data centre or critical environment.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of critical infrastructure, facilities management, and operational best practices.
- Commercially minded with outstanding client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
