HGV Class 2 Driver – West LothianPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client within the laundry and linen services sector in West Lothian.This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent backshift hours, competitive rates of pay, and ongoing work with a reputable company.This position is ideal for applicants who have worked in a previous position as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.Shifts:• Working Sunday to Thursday• Start times between 14:00 and 22:00Rates of Pay:• £15.25 - £16.25 per hourBenefits:As a Class 2 Driver , you will receive:• Weekly pay• Competitive hourly rates• Consistent backshift pattern• Ongoing work available• Supportive transport teamDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Delivering and collecting linen and laundry products from customer locations• Loading and unloading cages, bags and linen stock• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points• Adhering to all transport legislation and company proceduresEssential Skills:To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card• Good communication and customer service skills• Reliable and punctual• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulationsDesirable Experience:• Previous multi-drop delivery experience• Experience within laundry, linen or hospitality distribution environments is advantageousTraining:• Ongoing support and training providedApply:If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver , apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
