HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – MANCHESTERPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Manchester .This is an excellent short-term opportunity offering great rates of pay, consistent work, night out allowances, and a professional working environment.This role would suit candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Curtain Side Driver or Delivery Driver.Please note: This role will involve occasional night outs.Shifts• Monday to Friday• 05:00 – 08:00 starts• Approximately 10-hour shiftsRates of Pay• £16.00 per hour – Days• £26.40 per night outBenefitsAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:• Free onsite parking• Weekly pay• Onsite canteen and vending facilities• Consistent work• Supportive transport teamDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:• Completing deliveries and collections using curtain-side vehicles• Safely and efficiently operating Category C vehicles• Ensuring all loads are safely secured before transportation• Carrying out daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections• Reporting any vehicle defects or issues to management promptly• Completing deliveries in a timely and professional manner• Communicating effectively with the transport office regarding delays or issues• Complying with all driving regulations and Working Time Directive requirements• Completing all delivery paperwork accuratelyEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Licence• Minimum one year experience driving Category C vehicles• A valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences• No IN10, DR10 or DD10 endorsement codes• Strong communication and customer service skills• Excellent reliability and timekeepingDesirable Experience• More than one year Category C driving experience• Previous curtain-side delivery experience• Multi-drop delivery experience advantageousTraining Provided• Ongoing support and guidance throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
