The young man youll be working with would like to introduce himself in his own words:"Hi! I am a young man with a brain injury looking for a fun, energetic personal assistant to join my team and help me get the most out of life.A bit about me - I'm into wheelchair skiing, Boccia, boxing, eating out and loads of outdoor activities.

I like to keep busy, have a laugh and get out and about as much as possible. I do have dogs so you must be a dog lover - that's a non-negotiable!Because of my brain injury, I sometimes repeat myself (a lot!), so patience and a good sense of humour are really important. If you are the sort of person who can laugh things off, keep things positive and bring good energy, we'll probably get along great.While I love being active, I also have down days where I like to relax, watch TV, play games, and just chill out.

I also do regular physio and speech and language therapy, sometimes I find this boring and hard work, so I need staff who can bring lots of motivation, understanding and encouragement and who are creative and can make it as fun and interesting as possible."You must have a clean, full UK driving licence to be able to drive the person we supports vehicle. Youll also need relevant care experience and be comfortable wearing loose-fitting clothing to avoid sensory triggers.
