During your 24-month post-doctoral placement, you will:

• Work on real projects for some of our most beloved brands.

\n

• Bridge the gap between academic discovery and real-world impact, applying your scientific expertise to develop technologies and products used by millions.

\n

• Lead analytical method development to tackle consumer challenges, utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation to generate critical data and insights.

\n\n\nYour Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Design and execute advanced laboratory experiments focused on volatile and semi-volatile analysis using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).

\n

• Develop, validate, and implement innovative analytical methods, particularly using advanced sample introduction techniques like Headspace Solid-Phase Microextraction (HS-SPME) and Thermal Desorption (TD).

\n

• Analyze and interpret complex analytical data to provide actionable insights for technology development.

\n

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of senior scientists, engineers, and product developers to drive R&D initiatives.

\n

• Take ownership of critical analytical instrumentation, ensuring routine maintenance and performance optimization.

\n

• Communicate findings effectively through technical reports, data summaries, and presentations.

\n\n\nWhat We Look For\n

\n
• You should be in your final year of a PhD program or have recently completed a PhD (within the last 1-2 years) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.

\n

• Demonstrated expertise in gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with a preference for 3+ years of hands-on experience.

\n

• Experience with advanced sample introduction techniques for GC-MS, specifically HS-SPME and/or TD.

\n

• A solid foundation in analytical chemistry principles and a passion for hands-on laboratory work.

\n

• Academic excellence with a proven track record of independent problem-solving and method development.

\n

• Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, initiative, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

\n

• Evidence of achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities, internships, or short work experiences is a plus.
