Junior HR Analyst

Grafton Haymes is looking for a Junior HR Analyst

Job description

Junior HR Analyst (Graduate)

City of London | £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits | 4 days per week in the office

We are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected global financial services organisation in the City of London to recruit a Graduate People Analyst.

This is a rare opportunity for a recent graduate, or an individual in the early stages of their career, to join an established HR team and build expertise across people analytics, HR operations, payroll, HR systems and reporting. For somebody with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in how businesses use people data to make decisions, this role offers an outstanding foundation for a long term career within HR.

Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you will play an important role in maintaining and analysing employee data, producing reports and supporting key HR processes across the employee lifecycle. You will gain exposure to a broad range of activities, from onboarding and payroll administration through to workforce reporting, HR systems and process improvement initiatives.

The organisation is also investing in technology and AI enabled ways of working, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable experience in how modern HR functions are using automation, data and digital tools to improve efficiency and support decision making.

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who enjoy working with numbers, solving problems and analysing information. You may have recently graduated in a subject such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Analytics or another numerate discipline. Equally, you may already have gained some experience within an analytical, operational or administrative environment and be looking for an opportunity to move into HR.

Strong Excel skills are important, as is the ability to work accurately with detailed information. You should be organised, naturally curious and comfortable communicating with colleagues across different areas of the business. Most importantly, you will have the desire to learn and develop within a professional and fast paced environment.

What makes this opportunity particularly attractive is the breadth of exposure available from day one. Rather than being confined to a narrow specialism, you will gain experience across multiple areas of HR while developing highly sought after skills in data analysis, reporting, systems and process improvement. These capabilities are becoming increasingly important within the HR profession and can provide a strong platform for future career progression.

If you are looking for an opportunity that combines data, technology and people, and would like to begin your career within a successful financial services organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
