Job description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and industrialisation of advanced electrification products for automotive, aerospace, defence, and next-generation mobility applications. This role is focused on process development, NPI, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement, with PLC and automation knowledge considered a bonus rather than a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to production.
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes and production methods.
- Conduct PFMEA, process validation, and root cause investigations.
- Drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
- Support tooling, fixtures, and production equipment implementation.
- Work closely with Design, Quality, and Production teams.
Requirements
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Industrialisation.
- Knowledge of NPI, process development, DFM/DFA, and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering skills.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Desirable
- Basic PLC or automation experience.
- Exposure to MES systems or automated manufacturing equipment.
