Unyk Solutions are delighted to be partnered with a leading business operating within the temporary works and engineered construction solutions space, who are looking to appoint a Sales Manager to take ownership of a Midlands-based region.

This is a proper blend of leadership and hands-on sales, managing a small external team while also staying close to key customers and regional commercial performance.

The patch covers the Midlands and surrounding areas.

The role

You’ll be responsible for driving performance across the region, ensuring the sales team are delivering against targets while maintaining a strong and healthy pipeline across both existing and new business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, coaching and developing a team of sales reps
  • Driving regional sales performance and accountability across the team
  • Managing pipeline, forecasting and forward revenue reporting
  • Spending time in the field supporting customer development and deal progression
  • Building relationships with key contractors and project stakeholders
  • Supporting larger project and tender opportunities where required
  • Developing existing, lapsed and target accounts across the region
  • Ensuring strong CRM discipline and accurate reporting


What we’re looking for

We’re keen to speak with individuals from a technical, project-led construction sales environment, ideally with exposure to:

  • Temporary works / structural support systems
  • Engineered hire / infrastructure solutions
  • Or similar complex, project-based construction solutions


You’ll need to be comfortable managing a field-based sales team, while also maintaining senior-level customer relationships within the construction sector.


Key experience:

  • Previous experience managing external sales teams (or strong readiness for first step into management)
  • Strong background in a technical, project-led construction sales environment
  • Confident managing pipeline, forecasting and regional performance
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing credibility
  • Ability to coach, develop and drive performance within a sales team


Package

  • £55,000 – £60,000 basic salary
