UK Sales Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a UK Sales Engineer to join a leading industrial automation and motion control company. This home-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled sales professional to drive business growth across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding client requirements, and providing technical solutions related to frequency inverters, VFDs, electric motors, gearboxes, control systems, and other industrial automation components. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting clients through product selection, technical consultation, and ensuring seamless integration of automation solutions. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and technical understanding of automation drive systems and motor controls.

• Proven experience in technical sales within the industrial automation sector.
• Knowledge of frequency inverters, servo drives, electric motors, gearboxes, and control systems.
• Strong understanding of automation components such as PLCs, HMIs, power transmission, and motion control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and technical teams.
• Ability to analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate automation solutions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a home-based environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel within the UK as required.
