About the Company


This Stock Exchange listed organisation is leading the Green Tech revolution, specialising in providing responsible solutions towards decarbonisation. The company produces solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This is a small but growing company operating fully remote with team meet-ups in London every 2-3 months. You need to be comfortable working from a home office with the discipline to be successful in such an environment.


This Commercial Analyst role is part of a wider Commercial Analyst team and is split between: 50% general commercial analysis and commercial support projects + 50% technical projects (Python, SQL, Git etc.)


This is not a role that requires a developed but you must be comfortable with:


  • Python: solid working proficiency in an existing codebase
  • SQL/PostgreSQL: basic to intermediate
  • Git/Command line: comfortable working knowledge
  • VBA: helpful, not essential


Ideally, you may have experience of the energy sector, heavy industry or decarbonisation but this is not essential. The technical requirements listed above, are.


About the Role


The company is in need of a Commercial Analyst to provide support to the business and management team for various commercial activities. The role requires a detailed oriented individual who can take ownership of projects through to delivery.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare and maintain commercial / marketing materials for use with clients, investors, shareholders, etc. (in coordination with Head of Marketing & Communications);
  • Manage the inhouse technical tools developed in Python
  • Undertake industry research and produce internal reports (key potential customers by sector, key distributors by geography, etc.);
  • Maintain competitor market analysis;
  • In time, assume the responsibility for specific projects such as applying for government grants, applicable awards by trade bodies etc.
  • Coordination (with assistance from external legal counsel) of key agreements of the business including distribution agreements;
