Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Trunking (Depot to Depot) with no handballing required \nLocation: Carnforth\nPay Rate: £16.40 to £19.00 per hour\nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday - various starts available - Regular, ongoing work\nExperience: 6 months Class 1 essential \n\nFifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Carnforth to work with our client, who are a well established distribution and logistics company based in the North West.  \n \nEmployee Benefits:\nCompetitive Salary: £16.40 to £19.00 per hour\n£16.96 per hour + £2.04 holiday pay = £19.00 per hour total\nImmediate Starts: Begin earning immediately\nWeekly Pay: Payday every Friday\nCareer Growth: Excellent opportunities\n \nRoles & Responsibilities:\n\n - Driving and operating a Class 1 vehicle\n - Completing trunking runs between distribution centres\n - Carrying out daily vehicle checks\n - Completing transport paperwork\n - Complying with driver hours and working time regulations\n\nAll applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures. \n \nAbout you:\nYou will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.\n\nYou will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
