We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Watford for a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join their housekeeping team.

The Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest bedrooms, public areas, and hotel facilities are maintained to the impeccable standards expected of a 5-star property.

Working as part of a professional and supportive housekeeping team, you will help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests, ensuring every area of the hotel is presented to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to luxury hotel standards.

• Replenish guest amenities, linen, and supplies as required.

• Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.

• Report maintenance issues and guest requests promptly.

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

• Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning products safely and effectively.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient daily operations.

• Deliver exceptional service and attention to detail throughout every shift.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within a hotel environment is desirable.

• Experience within a luxury hotel would be advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and holidays where required.
