Sheet Metal & Fabrication

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager on behalf of our client. You will need experience in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing/ engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and providing technical sales support for custom fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities as Account Manager

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within manufacturing, construction, engineering, and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare quotations and proposals for sheet metal fabrication projects.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and estimating teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining profitability targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Requirements as Account Manager

• Previous sales experience within sheet metal fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing and engineering.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
