Class 1 Drivers - Days, Nights & Tramping
Location: Hull

Start Times:

• Days/Tramping: Between 04:00 - 06:00
• Nights: Between 16:00 - 17:00

Pay Rates:

• Days/Tramping: £16.40
• Nights: £17.15

Candidates with significant Class 1 experience are encouraged to apply. However, those with a few months of solid Class 1 driving experience will also be considered.

The Role

We have a variety of Class 1 opportunities available to suit your preference:

Days

• Deliver timber to builders' merchants across the UK
• Average 4-6 drops per day (sometimes as few as 1-2)

Night Trunking

• Trunking between depots
• Typically 1-2 trailer swaps per shift
• No handballing involved

Tramping

• Nationwide deliveries with 4 nights out per week
• Night out allowance paid

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

• Safely drive modern curtain-sided vehicles across the UK
• Ensure goods are securely strapped before journeys
• Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards
• Drive in a safe and professional manner at all times

Benefits

• Competitive Pay: £18.00 per hour after 8 hours

Additional Benefits:

• Night Trunking Bonus: £10.50 per shift
• Night Out Allowance (Tramping): £26.20 per night

Requirements

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR, or IN endorsements
• All drivers must pass an on-site assessment
