LICENSING & RETAIL EXECUTIVE - SPORT INDSUTRY - Spanish Speaking

Location: London, United Kingdom (office-based, 5 days per week)

£38k-£42k DOE


Role Overview

An international sports organisation is seeking a Licensing & Retail Executive to oversee the day‑to‑day operational delivery of its e‑commerce and retail partnership, while supporting the wider licensing team to maximise contractual rights and strengthen long-term partner relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within one of the world’s fastest‑growing sports and contribute to the expansion of a global tour.


The role requires flexibility during tournament weeks (Monday–Sunday) and participation in a rotation-based travel schedule. When not travelling, you will provide remote support as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the organisation’s e‑commerce and retail partnership, working closely with the Licensing & Merchandising Manager.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of apparel and product initiatives across e‑commerce and retail channels, including product launches, capsule collections and on‑site retail activations.
  • Build a strong understanding of the organisation’s commercial and brand strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the e‑commerce/retail partner and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver licensing partner campaigns and activations aligned with brand and commercial objectives, collaborating with Creative, Marketing, Brand, Social & Digital, Communications, Player Services and Operations teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate critical paths, range plans, product approvals, forecasts and revenue reporting.
  • Work with marketing and brand teams to ensure correct application of IP rights, reviewing and approving product submissions for brand consistency, creative integrity and compliance with licensing terms.
  • Manage financial performance across assigned licensees, including royalty reporting, sales tracking and forecasting.
  • Oversee merchandise requests for VIPs, team kit and internal needs, tracking VIK availability and coordinating with licensees to meet strict deadlines.
  • Communicate requirements, timelines and processes clearly to internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of licensing programmes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Licensing & Merchandising Manager across internal stakeholders and licensees.


Requirements

  • Experience in sports organisations
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Current or previous experience in a Licensing or Sponsorship Executive role within a brand, agency or rights holder, with exposure to international brands.
  • Experience managing or working closely with a major e‑commerce or retail partner in a licensing or brand environment.
  • Strong understanding of e‑commerce, retail and activation processes.
  • Background in brand partnerships, licensing and e‑commerce.
  • Collaborative team player with strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to develop branded content concepts and integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation and time‑management abilities.
  • Experience working in or around sport is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
