Senior Estimator

Job description

A well-established contractor in Essex is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team.

Location: Essex (Head Office) | Projects across London

Salary: Up to £110,000 per annum

Package: Car allowance, travel costs, stakeholder pension

Hours: 8am – 5:30pm

With over 500 operatives and an impressive in-house team, they have the capability to self-deliver across all phases of a project. They are particularly well known for delivering prestigious High-End Residential and Hotel & Leisure schemes, with a portfolio that includes some of London's most recognised luxury developments and five-star hotel refurbishments.

The Role

An experienced Estimator is needed to join their commercial team. You will take ownership of tenders from start to finish, supported by an established estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing the full tender process from enquiry through to submission

- Pricing high-end residential and hotel/leisure projects

- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes

- Working closely with the commercial and operations teams

- Producing accurate and detailed cost plans and tender submissions

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Estimator within a contractor environment

- Strong background in high-end/luxury residential and/or hotel projects is essential

- Ability to manage tenders independently from start to finish

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Commutable to or based in Essex

- Willingness to travel to project sites across London
