Sales Consultant

Shanly Homes is looking for a Sales Consultant

Job description

Sales Consultant

Creating exceptional homes. Delivering exceptional careers.

At Shanly Homes, we don’t just build houses; we craft beautifully designed, high-quality homes for modern living.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to lead sales at Charter Place, our upcoming development in Beaconsfield.

Charter Place is a collection of stunning one and two-bedroom apartments in Beaconsfield New Town, thoughtfully designed by our in-house team to reflect the quality and attention to detail associated with Shanly Homes developments.

The development is due to launch in summer 2026 and offers a long-term sales opportunity from initial release through to final handover. This role will suit an experienced site Sales Consultant who enjoys full responsibility for the end-to-end sales process on a live development, from first enquiry through to legal completion and handover.

About You

  • Solid experience in new homes sales, either running your own development or working as part of a high-performing site team.
  • The ability to work weekends on a rota basis - with free weekends off to enjoy.
  • Naturally proactive and organised, juggling multiple sales and priorities with ease.
  • Detail-obsessed and passionate about ensuring your customers have a first-class experience at every stage of the journey.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of hitting (or exceeding!) sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the New Homes Quality Code is a bonus but not essential as full training will be provided.

What you’ll be doing

  • Bring our homes to life with engaging customer viewings and home demonstrations, ensuring show homes and the sales area are in an immaculate condition at all times.
  • Guide our customers through an exceptional sales journey, from the first point of contact to completion and handover.
  • Share valuable insights, knowledge and feedback to improve marketing activity, drive footfall and increase customer engagement.
  • Use our customer relationship management system, Contact Builder, to accurately record customer interactions and key information.
  • Conduct monthly competitor research, reporting insights and market movement to support pricing and sales strategy.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary starting at £30,000 basic.
  • Performance related pay
  • A collaborative environment where proactive teamwork is rewarded.
  • Annual leave starting at 25 days (excluding bank holidays) and increasing to 30 days.
  • A raft of wellbeing benefits – free life assurance, on demand GP service, gym discounts, cycle to work scheme and an employee assistance programme.
  • Take advantage of our discounts portal with access to great savings ranging from everyday shopping, days out to holidays!
  • Great company culture, with social events and team activities held throughout the year.
  • Real career development opportunities, a clear path to becoming a Senior Sales Consultant, with training and support to help you grow.

If you’re engaging, ambitious, and energised by hitting targets, this is your chance to have a rewarding career in home sales.
