Account Manager – School Travel

Location: Brighton (hybrid) 3 days a week in office and 2 days at home

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £27,000 plus £15,000 OTE

We’re looking for a passionate, driven Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional educational travel experiences.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering outstanding customer journeys, and achieving ambitious sales targets — all while working in a rewarding sector that makes a real difference to schools and students.


The Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of school customers, driving both retention and new business growth
  • Deliver a first-class customer experience from initial enquiry through to trip delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact, anticipating customer needs and crafting tailored trip solutions
  • Increase trip bookings through recommendations and referrals
  • Build long-term partnerships through school visits, events, and regular engagement
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and service excellence
  • Track performance against targets, margins, and customer insights to continuously improve results


What We’re Looking For

Non-negotiable:

  • Experience in School Travel or Travel Industry


Essential:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently high standards
  • Full UK driving licence (for school visits)


Desirable:

  • Experience working with schools or educational groups
  • Knowledge of itinerary planning or group travel logistics
