Quick Overview

  • Role: Protection Adviser
  • Salary: £40,000 basic + uncapped commission
  • OTE: Six figures
  • Experience: 1+ year as a Protection Adviser
  • Lead Source: 120–150 warm mortgage leads per month (pre-booked meetings)
  • Location: Office-based 4 days per week during probation, reducing to 3 days thereafter

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to step into a steady flow of high-quality, pre-qualified leads generated by five experienced mortgage advisers. With 120–150 mortgage cases coming through each month, there is a strong and consistent opportunity to develop protection business.

You’ll focus on advising clients, converting warm leads, and building your own pipeline within a supportive and commercially driven environment. As the business continues to expand, there will be clear opportunities to progress and develop your career within the protection function.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection
  • Convert a high volume of warm, pre-booked mortgage leads
  • Maximise protection opportunities across an active client pipeline
  • Build strong relationships with mortgage advisers and internal teams
  • Consistently deliver against revenue and conversion targets


Package & Earnings

  • Base Salary: £40,000 DOE
  • Commission: 15% after validation
  • On-Target Earnings: Six figures
  • Progression: Clear pathway to develop your role and grow within the business


Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 year’ experience as a Protection Adviser or Protection Broker
  • Strong communication and consultative sales skills
  • Experience working with warm leads or referred clients
  • Motivated by targets, earnings, and career progression
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment
