Are you a confident and inspiring Assistant Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge in a busy and supportive early years setting?
Winner Education are seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to support the leadership of a thriving nursery in Leeds, helping to ensure children receive exceptional care and early years education. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead and develop a dedicated team, maintain the highest standards of care and compliance, and create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager in leading, motivating, and developing nursery staff to deliver outstanding care and education.
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements.
- Assist with the effective management of nursery resources, occupancy, and budgets.
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and the local community.
- Support staff development, supervision, and training.
- Help drive continuous improvement across the nursery setting.
- Maintain a safe, calm, and well-organised environment for all children.
- Act as the Nursery Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
- Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Previous experience as an Assistant Nursery Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting nursery operations.
- Passion for early years education and child development.
