Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Pay: From £13.75 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm (40 hours per week, with flexibility required during peak periods)

About the Role

Quest Employment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Witney. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join their team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer orders while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

This position involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting, therefore a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect customer orders across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers.
• Complete daily delivery schedules and routes.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Previous van driving experience is essential.
• Good geographical knowledge of Witney, Oxford, and surrounding areas is desirable.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• Ideally based within 10 miles of Witney.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A practical driving assessment will form part of the interview process.

Due to the nature of the customer base, which includes schools and educational establishments, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

For insurance purposes, applicants must be aged 25 or over.
