On behalf of UMG, we are looking for a Stock Controller for an initial 6 month contract based in their London Offices, on a hybrid working pattern.
How we LEAD:
We're hiring a Stock Controller to join a global Physical Operations / Supply Chain team within a leading music and entertainment business.You'll be part of a globally distributed team responsible for:
- Physical release operations across the UK, Europe and US
- Production, transport, and procurement across international markets
- Inventory management across multiple warehouse locations
This role will work closely with teams in Brussels and the US.
How you'll CREATE:
- Manage inventory levels across global warehouse locations, ensuring optimal stock availability
- Monitor and reconcile daily deliveries, shipments, and stock movements
- Analyse data to forecast demand and anticipate stock requirements
- Place and manage replenishment orders, balancing supply and demand effectively
- Support the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process
- Collaborate with international teams across logistics, production, and distribution
- Maintain oversight of a large and complex catalogue (tens of thousands of SKUs)
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve stock management processes
Bring your VIBE:
- 2+ years' experience in a stock control, inventory, supply chain or operational role
- Experience working across multi-site or global inventory environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret stock and demand data
- Familiar with ERP systems / inventory tools (experience with niche or bespoke systems is a plus)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
