Class 2 Driver

Job description

We're recruiting an experienced Class 2 Flatbed Driver for a full-time, permanent role based in Cradley Heath.

• £13.60 per hour for the first 38.75 hours

• Overtime paid at £20.40 per hour (time & a half) excellent earning potential

• Weekly pay

• Brand new DAF automatic trucks

• Excellent staff retention and a supportive, long-standing team

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am 4:00pm

• Friday: 7:00am 3:30pm

• Flexibility required due to early starts and operational requirements

• Approximately one night out per month

• Local and national flatbed deliveries.

• National runs may require nights out in the sleeper cab.

• Routes are provided the week before, so you'll know your schedule in advance.

• Curbside deliveries if the customer has a forklift, there's no handball required.

• Complete daily vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.

• Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Flatbed experience preferred

• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations

• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
