About the Role
Ewals Cargo Care is a leading UK Multimodal Logistics operator that operate 4900 Mega Trailers, moving 3050 loads per day across Europe. We are a family owned company that has been active for over 120 years and have multiple offices across the continent.
Our UK & IE office has been operating for over 40 years and is based at our custom designed offices in Colchester, Essex, where over 75 members of staff work to oversee and grow the UK & IE client business..
The UK & Ireland account portfolio has been built over many years via long-standing AAA Client relationships. The key to this success is founded in clear communication, strong operational performance, and the building of mutual trust and understanding between us and our clients.
As our product offering and customer base continues to grow, we are seeking a UK & Ireland Account Co-ordinator to support the ongoing management, development, and coordination of these key accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to play a vital role in maintaining client satisfaction while contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rate and commercial negotiations
- Oversee the full RFQ process including registration and updates
- Support the development and implementation of new and existing business and products
- Manage and review rate structures
- Act as an escalation point for both internal departments (Customer Services, Operations, Administration, Legal) and clients
- Conduct biannual business reviews with clients (minimum expectation) – remotely or on-site
- Participate in monthly reviews with the ECC Production Team
- Lead weekly volume reviews and monthly financial reviews with the Line Manager
- Deliver monthly financial analysis, including budget vs actual performance
- Support and improve credit term adherence, contributing to DSO (Day Sales Outstanding) reduction plans
