A Medical Device manufacturing business are hiring their first ever dedicated Commercial Manager to join them on a permanent basis.


Until now, contracts, pricing, tenders, and portfolio oversight have been spread across the team, but now, with business booming, they need someone who actually owns it.


What the role involves:


  • Full ownership of NHS and private healthcare contracts, tracking renewals, monitoring volume compliance, catching margin erosion before it lands on the P&L.
  • Running and coordinating tender submissions for NHS Trusts, NHS Supply Chain, and private healthcare groups.
  • Presenting pricing and margin analysis directly to the CEO.
  • Taking commercial ownership of two to three product lines and actively driving them through NHS procurement channels.


You will monitor costs, supplier compliance, and market dynamics to help aid in commercial decisions. A Business Analyst is available to pull reports, but you'll need to know what to ask for and what good commercial data actually looks like.


What they're looking for:


Medical device sales in orthopaedics or an adjacent area (but with proven contract process and data discipline)

A background in NHS or private healthcare commercial work either supply chain and procurement (but with real selling instinct) will also be considered.


Yorkshire based with UK wide travel.

This is a build it role with no existing playbook.
