Job description

Purpose:

Support the growth and day-to-day management of Holt Lloyd’s Amazon Vendor business across UK and European marketplaces, ensuring products are correctly listed, optimised and commercially ready to sell.

Context:

Part of PFX Group, managing brands such as Holts, Redex, Simoniz, Prestone and Adam’s Polishes. Amazon is a fast-growing channel with strong expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Catalogue & Marketplace Management

  • Ensure listings are live, accurate, compliant and buyable
  • Fix suppressed/inactive listings and track issues
  • Manage product setup, ASIN creation and data quality

2. Content & Optimisation

  • Improve product pages (titles, images, A+ content, etc.)
  • Benchmark competitors and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Support bundles, variations and marketplace-specific listings

3. Data & Reporting

  • Analyse sales, traffic and performance using Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
  • Track KPIs and flag risks/opportunities (e.g. Out-of-stock, low conversion)
  • Produce regular reports and actionable insights

4. Amazon Coordination

  • Work with Amazon AVS/Brand Specialist and Vendor Central
  • Handle operational issues (chargebacks, POs, forecasts, cases)
  • Support programmes like Vine, deals and marketplace expansion

5. New Product Launches

  • Coordinate product data, content, pricing and readiness
  • Track launch progress and resolve blockers

6. Cross-Functional Working

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and agencies
  • Keep stakeholders updated and maintain structured task tracking

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and analytical
  • Confident working with data, reports and multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and problem-solving ability

Desirable (not essential):

  • Amazon Vendor/Seller Central or ecommerce experience
  • Product data systems (PIM/ERP), Power BI or ecommerce tools
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, automotive or similar sectors

Role Nature

  • Hands-on, operational and data-focused
  • Supports but does not own Amazon strategy or commercial decisions
  • Backed by internal teams and external partners
  • Hybrid role - Monday & Friday at home, Tuesday - Thursday in office
