Cano Water was founded in 2015 by three mates from London, who saw the plastic problem up close and knew something had to change. Their solution? Infinitely recyclable aluminium cans – 100% recyclable, no excuses.

The Role:

This is a high-impact role combining strategic account management with new business development.

You'll take ownership of key grocery accounts, whilst also driving expansion across wholesale and other emerging channels. You will be instrumental in driving the Cano Water acceleration, with a real opportunity to shape the next phase of growth.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key national and regional customers including Ocado, Tesco & Booker
  • Build strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
  • Lead joint business planning and annual negotiations
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across grocery, wholesale and high street channels
  • Drive distribution, visibility and rate of sale across your accounts
  • Negotiate commercial terms, trade spend, and promotions.
  • Manage account P&Ls, budgets and performance analysis
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and demand planning
  • Turn category and sales insights into clear commercial actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong in-store and online execution
  • Represent Cano Water at trade shows, events and customer meetings

  • About You:

    • Proven experience in a National Account Executive, National Account Manager or similar FMCG role
    • Proven track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business
    • Strong understanding of UK grocery retailers
    • Commercially savvy with experiencing managing P&Ls
    • Confident negotiator and relationship builder
    • Organised, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
