Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager

Fushi is looking for a Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager

Job description

About Fushi

Founded in 2011 by Rannesh Jansari and Ria Pattni, Fushi is an award-winning, Ayurveda-inspired health and beauty brand on a mission to enhance women’s wellbeing – and their families – by creating ethically-made health and beauty solutions that positively impact lives. All our products are handmade in our London workshop and rooted in authenticity, sustainability, and Ayurvedic wisdom.

Fushi is guided by its Vision & Traction Organiser, and we are proud to live our core values – Integrity, Humility, Commitment and Kindness – while nurturing a people-first culture driven by Authenticity, Ownership, an Agile Mindset, and Continuous Improvement. Our purpose is to enhance people’s wellbeing and inspire them to live healthier, happier lives – and our 3-Year Picture reflects that ambition, with a clear plan to grow Fushi into a brand that is as commercially excellent as it is ethically grounded.

Our DTC channel and Amazon presence are both established and growing. This role exists to scale both meaningfully, efficiently, and in a way that reflects the quality of everything we make.

The Role

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who wants to run channels, not just support them. You will take full accountability for Fushi's DTC performance on Shopify - from conversion rate and site architecture through to subscription growth, merchandising, and SEO, with Amazon Vendor and an expanding portfolio of retailer marketplaces as a strong secondary focus.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work in close day-to-day collaboration with the CRM & Retention Manager, Social Media Manager, and Creative Lead, ensuring the customer experience is cohesive and consistent across every touchpoint, from site to email to social.

Externally, you will be the primary point of contact for Fushi’s digital marketing, web development and Amazon agency partners, managing both relationships with clarity, holding them accountable to performance outcomes. You will also work closely with the sales team to ensure ecommerce and marketplace activity is aligned with the wider commercial picture.

This suits someone with a genuine commercial edge: someone who reads data naturally, builds experiments instinctively, and takes real pride in owning a number. You will be expected to operate with the mindset of a channel owner, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What You'll Own

Conversion Rate Optimisation & Landing Page Testing

  • Own CVR as your north star focusing on continuous improvement across every meaningful traffic segment
  • Build and lead a CRO programme: hypothesis generation, A/B and multivariate testing, prioritisation frameworks, and a team culture where experimentation is the default
  • Develop a landing page experimentation system built for paid traffic - fast to iterate, always connected to what is running on Meta and PMAX
  • Own the connection between ad and landing experience- work closely with the performance and brand teams on message match, offer alignment, and friction removal from click to conversion

UX & Site Architecture

  • Audit and architect the end-to-end site journey with a DTC best-in-class lens - homepage, PDP, bundle pages, cart, and checkout
  • Own site speed and Core Web Vitals as a commercial priority
  • Lead the tech team relationship, own the development roadmap, and ensure delivery is tight, prioritised, and commercially motivated
  • Use heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioural data to identify drop-off and act on it fast

Subscription & LTV Architecture

  • Own the on-site experience around subscription acquisition reducing friction points that impair recurring revenue
  • Work closely with the CRM Manager to ensure pause, cancel, and win-back flows on-site are converting, not leaking
  • Think beyond the first order - the site should be actively building LTV

Bundles, Merchandising & AOV

  • Own product display, cross-sell, and upsell logic across PDPs, cart, and checkout
  • Build a bundle and merchandising strategy that increases basket value without compromising conversion
  • Lead promotional and campaign infrastructure

SEO & Organic

  • Set the SEO strategy and manage the agency against clear organic growth objectives.
  • Ensure Fushi is building long-term search equity alongside the paid performance engine.
  • Stay close to how product discovery is evolving across AI search, AI-led recommendations and emerging agentic shopping journeys, ensuring Fushi is well-positioned for the future of search and shopping.

Analytics & Commercial Intelligence

  • Own the data layer and use it to build a sharp commercial picture for the Head of Marketing and wider leadership team
  • Be the person in trading reviews who can explain what is happening on site, why, and what we are doing about it with clarity and conviction
  • Use AI tools to accelerate competitor analysis, keyword research, review mining, reporting, and workflow automation
  • Identify opportunities for new products, bundles, seasonal promotions, pricing tests, and growth experiments

Amazon & Marketplace

  • Lead Fushi’s Amazon and marketplace activity, working closely with the Amazon agency to drive growth, improve performance and ensure the channel is commercially aligned with the wider ecommerce strategy.
  • Own the day-to-day quality and accuracy of product listings across Amazon, Superdrug, Boots, Holland & Barretta and all other active marketplaces including titles, bullets, A+ content, imagery, backend keywords and product information.
  • Work with the Amazon agency to support marketplace SEO, PPC and paid media performance, ensuring activity is aligned with commercial priorities, campaign moments and wider marketing plans.
  • Monitor marketplace performance, competitor activity, pricing and trends, using insights to identify opportunities for growth, optimisation and improved customer experience.
  • Support the resolution of listing issues, suppression warnings, compliance requirements and account health actions, working with the agency where specialist support is needed.
  • Lead the launch and scaling of new marketplace channels, ensuring each launch is well planned, commercially viable and consistent with the wider Fushi brand experience.
  • Manage the product catalogue with rigour across all platforms, maintaining accuracy of pricing, stock availability, imagery and product information.

Agency Management & External Partnerships

  • Serve as the primary contact for Fushi's Digital Marketing and Web Development agency — managing the relationship, owning the roadmap, and holding delivery to commercial priorities
  • Manage the Amazon agency relationship with the same rigour - regular performance reviews, and accountability to agreed targets
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure ecommerce and marketplace activity supports the wider commercial plan
  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive, Copywriter and Design Team to brief creative assets, landing pages and campaign content effectively, ensuring ecommerce output feels commercially strong and on-brand.

Who We're Looking For

You are commercially sharp, hands-on, and energised by ownership. You build experiments instinctively, use data and AI tools naturally, and take real pride in owning a number.

  • 3–6 years' experience in ecommerce, DTC, or performance marketing roles with proven ownership of a Shopify or comparable DTC channel
  • Hands-on CRO experience: A/B testing, multivariate testing, hypothesis frameworks, and landing page optimisation
  • Strong UX instincts - you understand what a high-converting mobile journey looks like and know how to build towards it
  • Experience with subscription models and the on-site mechanics that drive recurring revenue
  • Solid grasp of paid media - Google Ads, Meta, Amazon PPC - with the ability to interrogate agency output and brief with precision
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central: listings, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, A+ content, and performance optimisation
  • Confident with analytics
  • Familiar with using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and reporting
  • Experience managing external agencies and holding them to clear, measurable outcomes
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable making fast decisions independently

Living Our Values in This Role

Authenticity - Honest analysis, grounded recommendations, and direct communication with agencies and colleagues.

Ownership - You run your channels as if they were your own business – setting the roadmap, holding agencies to account, and moving fast to fix what isn’t working.

Agile Mindset - You iterate quickly, adapt without losing sight of the commercial goal, and remain calm when the pace picks up.

Continuous Improvement - You build structured CRO programmes, document what works, share learnings across the team, and consistently raise the bar on Fushi’s digital channels.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you have audited the DTC site and Amazon account, met the team and both agencies, and have a clear view of where the biggest opportunities sit. By 90 days, your CRO programme is live, Amazon listings have been improved, and agency relationships reset with clear accountability. At 12 months, LTV is trending upward, CVR and AOV have improved, and Fushi’s digital channels are operating with greater efficiency and ambition than before you joined.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Customer lifetime value – upward trend across key cohorts
  • DTC conversion rate – month-on-month improvement
  • Average order value – YoY growth via bundles, upsell, and cross-sell
  • Subscription revenue – growth in active subscribers and recurring revenue

If you resonate with our values and feel inspired by this opportunity, we encourage you to take the leap and apply. Embrace the journey toward holistic well-being with us.
