Role: HGV Class 2 ADR DriverPay: £16.30 per hour which includes holiday pay (£14.54ph with accrued holiday pay)Location: Trafford Park, ManchesterWork Pattern: Full time, contract, temp to perm position. Initially you will work on behalf of ourselves, then after a successful 13 week temp to perm period of 13 weeks you will join the client's team in a permanent capacity.
Our client is a leading hazardous waste management and container reconditioning facility based in Trafford Park, Manchester. They are currently looking to recruit a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to drive their 18 tonne and 7.5 tonne vehicles as part of their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste empty and full IBC containers across the North West and Nationally. You will represent the company professionally while ensuring full compliance with transport and environmental regulations.
Key HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Responsibilities
Collection and delivery of hazardous waste.Transporting drums, IBCs, and industrial packaging safely and efficientlyCompleting vehicle checks and transport paperworkEnsuring compliance with ADR and transport legislationMaintaining high standards of health & safetyAssisting with loading/unloading where requiredProviding excellent customer service on site visits
Essential Requirements of HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV LicenceADR Licence (packages)Valid CPC qualificationDigital tachograph cardGood knowledge of driver hours and transport regulationsPrevious hazardous waste or industrial transport experience preferredPositive attitude and strong work ethic

We offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner. Plus, attractive rate of pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE. Hourly pay Rate of £16.30 includes holiday pay but can be accrued should you wish.
