Class 2 Driver
Locations: Fareham
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp/Ongoing
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established FMCGbusiness.
This role involves deliveries to shops and businesses across Reading, Portsmouth, Southampton, Guildford, Bournemouth, and Salisbury of pallets and cages, maximum 5 drops per day. You'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Complete deliveries across your assigned route
- Deliver goods to retail stores and commercial customers
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle logs
- Comply with all driving laws, WTD regulations, and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of the South Coast and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Physically fit for manual handling duties
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
