Residential Support Worker Children & Young People

- Full Time | Long Day Shifts & Sleep-Ins
- Salary from £29,304 per annum + Sleep-In Payments (£3,000£6,000 per year)
- Full UK Driving Licence Required

Do you have the resilience, patience and commitment needed to support young people through some of the most important moments of their lives?

We're looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join a specialist children's home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs, Autism, ADHD and complex life experiences.

No two days are the same. One day you could be helping a young person build confidence and independence, and the next supporting them through a difficult situation. The role can be demanding, but the rewards of seeing young people grow, succeed and reach their potential make it worthwhile.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a safe, stable and nurturing home environment

• Building positive relationships based on trust, consistency and respect

• Supporting young people with their daily routines, education and personal development

• Encouraging participation in hobbies, activities and community opportunities

• Helping young people develop life skills and independence

• Managing challenging situations in a calm and professional manner

• Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals

• A confident and resilient approach

• The ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships

• Experience within residential care, youth work, education, mental health, support work, criminal justice or similar settings would be advantageous

• Flexibility to work long shifts and sleep-ins

• A genuine passion for supporting young people to thrive

• Full UK Driving Licence
