ADR Driver Training Specialist (Regional)

Location: North Region (Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Coventry & Birmingham)

Salary: £42,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance

Job Type: Full-Time

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV driver with ADR qualifications who is passionate about coaching and developing drivers while promoting high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver driver inductions and onboarding assessments.
• Provide ongoing driver coaching, refresher training, and development support.
• Conduct driver reassessments following incidents or performance concerns.
• Maintain accurate training and competency records.
• Review driving performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support managers with driver compliance and behavioural interventions.

Requirements

• Valid ADR Tanker qualification.
• Proven Waste Vacuum Tanker experience.
• Minimum 3 years' HGV driving experience.
• Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and driver compliance.
• Previous driver training, coaching, or transport experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally and stay away from home when required.
