Territory Manager – Revision & Custom Orthopaedics
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading global medical technology organisation specialising in advanced orthopaedic solutions, including revision joint reconstruction and patient-specific implant technologies.
This is a highly clinical, theatre-based Territory Manager role focused on complex surgical cases and high-value procedures. You will work closely with consultant orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams, and procurement stakeholders across both NHS and private hospitals.
This is not a standard orthopaedic sales role. It is a specialist, consultative position operating at the highest level of surgical complexity, supporting some of the most challenging reconstruction cases in the market.
Key Focus Areas
- Revision hip and knee procedures
- Custom and patient-specific implant solutions
- Complex primary and revision reconstruction cases
- In-theatre clinical support for advanced surgical procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a defined territory across NHS and private healthcare settings
- Drive adoption of revision and custom orthopaedic solutions
- Provide in-theatre support during complex surgical procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultant surgeons, theatre teams, and key decision-makers
- Work closely with procurement stakeholders to support tender and contracting processes
- Develop and execute a structured territory business plan
- Identify and convert new high-value clinical opportunities
- Deliver product education and support clinical evaluations where required
About You
We are looking for an experienced medical device sales professional with strong theatre exposure and a proven track record within orthopaedics or a closely related surgical specialty.
Essential Experience
- Background in orthopaedic, surgical, or implantable medical devices
- Strong experience supporting cases within the operating theatre environment
- Proven territory management experience and consistent commercial success
- Strong understanding of NHS and private hospital structures
- Ability to engage credibly with consultant-level surgeons and senior stakeholders
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to revision arthroplasty or complex reconstruction procedures
- Experience with custom or patient-specific implant technologies
- Background with leading orthopaedic manufacturers or enabling technologies
- Experience developing and managing key opinion leader (KOL) relationships
