Staff One is currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our growing agency team across South Yorkshire.

The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care while supporting care teams and ensuring the smooth running of shifts.

Your duties may include:

• Leading and supporting Care Assistants on shift

• Administering and recording medication

• Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities

• Completing care records and handover documentation

• Supporting service users with dignity, respect, and independence

• Monitoring and reporting changes in health and wellbeing

• Liaising with healthcare professionals, relatives, and management teams

• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures are followed at all times

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant

• Experience with medication administration

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A caring, professional, and reliable approach

• Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates preferred
