A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and nurturing Live-In Nanny to join a warm, welcoming family on a stunning private estate in Hertfordshire. This is a long-term role working with two school-aged children (Girl, 9 and Boy, 7). The family are seeking a proactive and engaging nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, can organise fun and stimulating activities, and is confident supporting homework and daily routines. The family pride themselves on creating a friendly, open and supportive environment. They have an excellent household team in place, including a House Manager, Housekeeper, Domestic Couple and Gardeners.The Role Working 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday, your duties will include:
- Managing the morning routine and school runs
- School pick-ups and after-school care (driver essential)
- Supporting homework and educational development
- Organising engaging activities, playdates and outings
- Planning fun and active school holiday schedules
- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the children
- Managing children's laundry, bedrooms, wardrobes and nursery duties
- Maintaining children's schedules and routines
- Occasional babysitting (typically two evenings per week)
- Occasional weekend cover with prior arrangement
The children are bright, active and sociable, with a love of outdoor adventures and hands-on activities. The family would love to find a nanny who enjoys getting involved in activities such as swimming, paddleboarding, tennis, Go Ape, go-karting and countryside adventures, while also providing calm and consistent support with homework and daily structure.The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience caring for school-aged children
- Confident driver with a clean licence
- Non-smoker
- Strong organisational skills and proactive approach
- Active, energetic and outdoorsy personality
- Patient, calm and emotionally intelligent
- Comfortable working within a fully staffed household
- Good cook, confident preparing children's meals
- Looking for a long-term role within a welcoming family environment
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000-£60,000 DOE
